Drive

Lately I've come to terms with myself: Time is precious. I need to let go of my selfish pride for walking and learn how to drive. As much as I love walking, it takes way too long. As much as I hate public transportation, it saves you lots of time. The best compromise between that is owning a car. While my love for walking stands - I'd give up wheels any day for scenic walks -  I need to get my license.

If it were to come down to having my own family, I'd want to savor all the time I have with them with places we go to. And of course, I'd have to think for their feet's sake in travelling. As cheasy as it may sound, I'd want my wife to be by my side while my kid sits in the back looking out his/her window, getting a piece of the joyride I had as a kid in family weekend outings. Only then can I say "Yeah I took my family to Mckenzie Park yesterday". I'm gonna have to work extra hard to make sure that reality happens. Obviously won't be putting the car first before my family, but it'd definitely serve the overall cause well.
