If I were to accumulate the hours wasted on Saturdays watching this film over and over, it'd probably span a month. I still remember what scene it'd end making its split mark for VHS no.2. Probably the only chick flick I don't mind watching. Beyond that, it's the true story of what actually happened with RMS Titanic that makes it so tragic. Every time I'd finish the film I'd be left in a zone of after thought, recollecting what's been depicted and what the passengers been through. It's no different in today's time when watching the theatrical 3D re-release.
However close it captured the events, it's enough to leave one wondering how they'd deal with the situations. Being separated from loved ones to accepting their fate, witnessing or being a part of the sinking. And let's not forget the aftermath, being the haunting storm that follows in the long run there after. It's another display of human imperfections, serving Titanic as a definition to disastrous consequences from it.
I'm always at a lost for words for Titanic other than saying that it did happen. It'd always hit me every time I go into an obsessive google search for it. As for the 3D - again to my surprise after Beauty and the Beast, the post-conversion was so well done I hate myself for saying it.
Can't believe it's been a hundred years since.

I wish I had not had internet connection today. Because at some point I googled 'Orange and Teal' while trying to understand why Jurassic Park 3D is orange... Now I see it everywhere. DiCaprio and Kate Winslet with a bodybuilding competition fake suntan. OMG, what have I done.
